Around(Poem)

Zephyr filled
the room
to unsick the
paper fan
deserted by the sea breezes.

Humbled Ceramic cup
pregnant with
flavored tea
began to cool off.

Ganesha doll
notified the fact that
we and gods are the same—
all
tied to the monotony.

Newspaper
cried about
social ulcers
and bitter pills
yet
the pus of horrors keeps flowing.

And the lizard
on the wall
was either in Buddhist stillness
or
in the stress of a prisoner
escaped from Alcatraz.

But
the years of dust
settled in weird corners
and the oval faced Chinese toy
can never know
what a soul is.
