Truth—A stiff one(Poem)

Is the greatest rebel ever to walk on planet earth
always lit
like a comet
burning the darkness in the sky of falsity.

Is the flag that never flutters
for the winds of a trickster.

The breath never skulk in the dark
and shines like a nebula.

An exorcist
sending chills down the spine of
a charlatan.

the gamma ray
drawing the power from endless
worlds of knavery
scarring the erring human.

there’s a kind sweetness in your mouth
before you die, if it’s for truth.

yeah, that’s what Socrates had before he had his ripe hemlock.

—Drunken rebel.
