Thus Spoke A Rainbow(Poem)

I withstood the horrors
of a storm’s latent energy
and
Thor’s ravenous rain
which tried to wash away the colors.

yet,
here I stand
burning up.

Zeus tried to whip me with the thunder
yet
here I stand
shining above the fold mountains.

Clouds tried to bully me
yet
here I stand
bending the bow of destiny
and incinerating the dullness of sky
after a hefty rain.

O’ mortal
life will be always black and white
unless you paint the canvas.
one day you shall illumine the whole sky
till then
keep splitting the spectrum.

—Drunken Weather.
